This GCMS is shown with an attached purge and trap sample concentrator (see below) for the analysis of volatile organic compounds down to ppb levels. WCAS currently has three GCMS units equipped with EI ionization. We typically use capillary GC columns, and routinely perform both scanning and selected ion monitoring modes.  Some of the tests we perform are listed below:

• Pharmaceutical: OVI, degradation products, etc.
• Environmental: VOAs, BNAs, and pesticides
• Trace organics in gasses
• Identification of unknown mixtures
• Prop. 65 testing for PNAs, phenols, phthalates, etc.
• Isotope dilution methods
