Trace elements such as Se, Cr, Mo, and Zn are determined using ICPMS, ICPOES, and GFAA. Impurities in some supplements such as Pb in calcium supplements are also measured by isotope dilution-ICPMS. |
Vitamins such as A, B, D, E, and K are determined using liquid chromatography. Vitamin C is determined by titration in acetic/phosphoric acid. Beta-carotene is determined spectrophotometrically. |
